
Collaboration and partnership is key to moving the gateway agenda forward and achieving success within the goal areas of the Halifax Gateway. Four Gateway committees take on a very active role in the areas of communications, air, cruise homeport and Atlantic Gateway – Halifax Logistics Park.
Logistics Park
The Logistics Park Committee focuses on developing the Atlantic Gateway- Halifax Logistics Park. Members of this committee include:

Air Gateway
Air capacity is a critical factor to long-term growth for the Halifax Gateway Council. The Air Gateway committee looks to work collaboratively on marketing initiatives that will sustain and grow air routes and capacity. The committee works on joint programs which focus on opportunities to increase the number of flights from existing international destinations, increase passenger numbers on international flights and programs with airlines to attract new direct routes to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Members of this committee include:

Cruise Homeport
The Cruise Homeport committee focuses on strengthening the Port of Halifax's position as a niche home and turnaround port for targeted cruise lines. Members include:
